QuickBooks Online integration

Waybe keeps your books inside your own QuickBooks Online company. Rather than asking you to export files or share your password, we connect directly through Intuit’s official authorization flow — and you can cut that connection off yourself, at any time.

This is a private integration. It is used by Waybe’s own accounting staff to service clients who have engaged us. It is not sold or distributed as a product, and it is not listed on the QuickBooks App Store.

What it does

Reads your books

Customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments, deposits, the chart of accounts, and the financial reports QuickBooks itself produces — so your accountant works from live data instead of a stale export.

Records entries you ask for

Where you’ve asked us to, it can create entries such as invoices. Every write shows a full preview first and is only sent after explicit confirmation.

What it does not do: it never sees your QuickBooks password, never moves money, and never reconciles your bank accounts on its own. Reconciliation and the final approval of your financial statements stay with a person.

Your data

Data read from QuickBooks is processed on company workstations under our control and is not copied into any database of our own. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. The details are in our Privacy Policy.

Connecting

Connections are set up by your Waybe accountant as part of onboarding — there is nothing to install and no account to create.

Disconnecting

You can revoke our access yourself at any time, without asking us first, from inside QuickBooks Online.
