Disconnect QuickBooks
You can revoke Waybe’s access to your books yourself, at any time, without asking us first and without explaining why.
From inside QuickBooks Online
- Sign in to QuickBooks Online.
- Go to Settings (the gear icon, top right) → Apps.
- Find Waybe in your list of connected apps.
- Open the action menu and choose Disconnect.
The revocation is immediate. Our authorization tokens stop working the moment you confirm, and they cannot be revived — restoring access later means authorizing us again from scratch.

Disconnecting stops the bookkeeping. Without access to your company we cannot record transactions, reconcile, or close the month. If you are disconnecting because something is wrong rather than because you are leaving, tell us — it is usually faster to fix.
What happens to your data
- Authorization tokens are deleted on our side.
- Your QuickBooks data stays where it always was: in your own QuickBooks company, under your control. Nothing we do on disconnection affects your books.
- Work product we prepared for you — reconciliations, statements, and the working papers behind them — is retained for the period required by tax and professional recordkeeping rules, then deleted. You can ask us at any time what we hold; see the Privacy Policy.
